I had my first blind date from the dating service last Friday. If it weren't for the horror stories she told me about her previous match-ups, I would've said my outlook on this dating service had shifted full circle. She was very easy-going, intelligent, accomplished, and just fun to hang out with. She was also extremely attractive and claimed looks weren't a top priority for her (woot for me!). I thought we had a great time although it got cut short because she had some personal matters to attend to. We exchanged cards; I'm hoping to hear back from her.
She said she's unavailable until after Labor Day. So it'll be a couple weeks before I even have an opportunity to see her again.
