The grow lizard appears to have grown as much as it's going to. While
massive compared to when it was captured, I'm afraid its reputation is
more hype than truth. Unless its jailors were hampsters, it's not
going to be gobbling them in one bite.
The beast has reached a respectable size. Placing the qurater on its
head might have been dangerous had I not patiently waited for an
opportunity while it was asleep. At least, I think it was asleep!
The reptile appears docile this morning, but it's tossed the quarter
off its head three times now. Documentary photo was hard to capture.
The assistant warden is doing an excellent job ensuring the lizard
remains in captivity.
The GGL stared at me menacingly the entire time I got ready for work.
A brawl was inevitible. The victor is obvious.
It wasn't the lizard.
The lizard is responding nicely.
Let's see how you like Chinese water torture, reptile! Monitoring will
be resumed in the morning...
Summoning bravery I never knew I had, I taunt this fearsome beast by
placing a quarter upon its head. If only you could hear its fearsome
hissing.
The rare and very dangerous ginormous grow lizard! They say these
things, when held in captivity, will try to escape by enlarging
themselves until they're big enough to eat their captor in one bite!
Well, bring it on, lizard!!
